Premier Window Films™  Provides Safety Films and Security films

Your home is more than just a place for possessions. Which is exactly why it’s worth protecting from anything and everything that can do it harm – accidental or not. Specially designed to hold shattered glass in place, Armorcoat does more than just protect you and your family from flying shards, it also provides a deterrent barrier against burglary and storm damage – giving you peace of mind that you, your loved ones and your valuables are safe and protected.
Premier Window Films™ Armorcoat protects supersize estate

The largest home in Pinellas County, Florida – owned by 7-foot-1 former NBA player and real estate mogul Matt Geiger – spans 28,500 square feet and rests upon 40 acres of land. All of the home’s expansive windows offer phenomenal views of Geiger’s spectacular landscape, 300,000-gallon water wonderland and his menagerie of exotic animals.

Yet, the same windows that offer these unprecedented views also posed a threat to his distinctive home accessories, beautiful high-end furnishings and exquisite hardwood and stone flooring. These valuable possessions were vulnerable to two distinct harms: violent weather and ultraviolet light. “When I learned that safety film provided storm protection, as well as ultraviolet radiation rejection, the decision was easy,” said Geiger. “When you live in Florida, any protection against hurricanes is a great investment.” What Geiger likes best is that no one can tell he’s had anything done to the windows.

Premier Window Film™ provides protection from flying glass during bomb blasts

The tough defense against bomb blasts

With the ever-present threat of terrorism, commercial and government building safety has never been a higher priority. High-risk areas now include just about every major city of the world. Even buildings in the outlying areas are susceptible to major damage if an explosion should occur. The shock wave exerts enormous amounts of pressure, breaking unprotected glass and sending harmful shards into your environment at high velocities. Premier Window Film’s™ Armorcoat’s strong, resilient adhesive and flexible construction enable it to withstand severe levels of positive and negative pressure – allowing the film to move with the window should a blast occur, retaining dangerous fragments…acting as a protective barrier between you and disaster.

GSA approved Armorcoat has been installed on some of the most safety-intensive buildings in the world, from the Pentagon and FBI offices to many U.S. and foreign embassies.

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA), an independent research and product-testing firm, conducted high-explosive tests to evaluate the capability of Premier safety and security film to reduce the hazards of flying glass shards during an explosion. ARA detonated the equivalent of 500 pounds of TNT just 60 yards from framed glass samples with and without Premier Window Film™. The unprotected glass shattered and projected upon impact, while the Premier Window Film™-protected glass remained safely within the frame. See this dramatic testing footage for yourself!

Premier Window Film™ Armorcoat safety window film provides protection from theft and intruders

Armorcoat safety film comes between an intruder and your business.
The Blane Group in Michigan had problems with intruders repeatedly breaking the tempered windows, entering the building under cover of night and stealing valuable computer equipment. After the 8 Mil film was installed, attempted thieves were unable to enter the building. The Blain Group is both impressed with the product’s glass retention performance and its ability to reduce HVAC load, impacting the company’s bottom line.

To a thief, a broken window is an open door to the valuables locked inside. Your electronics, jewelry, merchandise and other costly possessions can all be gone in a matter of minutes after a criminal gains entry. Luckily, Armorcoat helps eliminate a burglar’s easiest access route – a broken window. By making a window more difficult to shatter and holding the broken glass firmly within the window frame after breaking, illegal access is much more difficult and less likely to occur.

The FBI’s Unified Crime Report states that almost 70 percent of all burglaries involve forced entry through a window or door. Bekaert’s safety film helps deter break-ins, theft and even personal injury.

Regardless where you are or what you are doing, Armorcoat acts as your constant, invisible security guard, offering you complete protection around the clock.
